About: Micah is the founder of Alpine Existence Climbing Guides, a personalized and success-focused climbing instruction and guiding service. Alpine Existence also offers clients and the general public a source of climbing tech tips, gear reviews and trip reports. Micah guides mountaineering expeditions on Denali, Mt. Rainier and in the North Cascades as well as technical climbs and avalanche courses in the Tetons, Wasatch Range and Colorado’s Front Range.
Kudos: Originally from the New England area, Micah spent most of his time climbing on the multitude of rock and ice littering the East Coast. Since then, Micah has guided mountaineering expeditions in Haines, Alaska as well as several high altitude mountaineering expeditions in Ecuador. With BA in Outdoor Education and Psychology, Micah enjoys helping climbers learn the safest and most efficient climbing techniques. He is a passionate alpine climber with challenging ascents in Canada, Alaska, Mexico, Red Rocks, Yosemite, Zion and Colorado.
