About: Josh is a Vermonter and is constant search of ways to further his competitive edge and is a five-time TeamUSA member. When he’s not training, Josh works as a middle school science teacher at Bellows Falls middle school where he also coaches cross country, basketball and track.
Kudos: Josh has been named Vermont Runner of the Year for the second year by New England Road Runner Magazine and was a finalist for New England Runner of the Year. He has placed 1st in Vermont at the Vermont City Marathon in Burlington for three consecutive years and has competed internationally for TeamUSA in the 2011 50k Road World Championships (finished 17th) in The Netherlands. Over the past two years, Josh has earned the honor to compete and represent USA at the World Mountain Marathon Championships in Switzerland 2012 (finished second overall) and in Poland 2013 where he personally finished 15th overall! This year, Josh finished 3rd at the USA Road 50k Championships, qualifying his for the World Championships in Qatar, and then won the New England Mountain Running Championships in Vermont at Sleepy Hollow in Huntington. Josh then traveled to Canada to win the Sky Running Mountain Marathon and Canadian championships which earned him a ticket to Europe to race Mont Blanc in 2015.
On the Socks: Josh is tough as nails and looks for products that will help take him to the next level. He needs a sock that won’t wimp out and that’s where Darn Tough comes in!
